We staged this condo in Manassas, VA with our scene staging or as some refer to as "light staging". We think that our scenes really warmed up the place and added the splash of color that made this condo go from blah to WOW!

Hi Cindy - I provide input on how to make a home sell better and if a kitchen needs updating then I recommend updating and if they ask for help on selecting fixtures, countertops and floor coverings I help with that as well. The cabinets were selected by the owner based on budget and I provided advice on details. So I guess to answer your question it kinda is part of staging. Thanx for stopping by!

I've never done "light" or "scene" staging but I can see how it helps suggest the use of each room and would give buyers a reason to stay in the spaces longer...and both of these are goals of staging spaces. How often do you buyers ask for this type of staging over the more traditional type?
Hi Debra - yes this works very well if done right. One of my realtors only wants me to do scene staging and I have staged 4 of his listings and they have all sold and this listing is now under contract after 6 days! I have to say that probably 75% of my stagings are done this way as it is more cost effective and it works.
I especailly liked the kitchen. The black cabinets gave the room the pop it needed.
