Not even 24 hours since my first blog and I thought William Johnson was a real book author, (I found out that was just his blog handle) and then I emailed to explain, and then felt like a stalker, then I got excited about the agent in the same area as my Realtor daughter and accidently mentioned her website address when I posted a comment, and realized I may have offended others from the Newbie Guidelines by using the blog as a platform to promote her business...Oops! Sorry! H-E-L-P!

I Like the title of your post! I thought William Johnson was a real book author also. Don't worry about making errors you'll be fine. Check out Sarah Cooper's post she writes great newbie posts among others.

P.S. You can get so much valuable info from this site and our fellow bloggers. One tip I received is to always include a P.S. since they are read more often than the body.

P.S. You can post a link to a comment to continue a conversation. The prohibition is not to promote your business in the comments on someone elses blog, it is up to the blogs owner whether the link continues the conversation or whether it is comment spam. Posting a link to your daughter could have been hey let me introduce you to my daughter or it could have been promoting your daughters business. The golden rule helps, if it was your entry done on your blog for your business does a link in a comment contribute or detract.

Funny....to this day I thought William wrote a book :) My first interactions here were so sad.....I emailed the admin to say this site was too hard to navigate as I couldn't even find my way back to my homepage :) :) Boy, that seem s o long ago, but it really wasn't.......just keep reading, commenting, etc. you'll do fine.....and if you get one of the cranky people on here ignore them......and find the positive ones......

don't give up, it's worth it to keep trying.
