The air show is in Homestead; about a 30 minute drive south of Pinecrest (Miami), Florida.
"HOMESTEAD AIR RESERVE BASE, Fla. -- Jaw-dropping precision aerobatics will be highlighted against a backdrop of jet sound as the US Navy's Blue Angels headline an all-star list of performers at the Homestead Air Reserve Base "Wings Over Homestead" air show Nov 6-7, 2010.
The South Florida community will get a chance to see one of the finest aerial demonstration teams in the world and the 482 FW is proud they have elected to come to Homestead."
Last year my family and I, and over 200,000 other people, attended the "Wings Over Homestead" air show and we had a wonderful time! It's one of those events that makes you feel proud to be an American. Gates open at 8:00am both days, get there as early as possible; no one will be let in after 3:00pm. Admission is free.
