Now watch the interview.....
In my opinion, this was very powerful. Okay, so the gentleman in the video is not homeless. But it's about his message. Do you have a message? An idea? I will tell you that this not only made me sad, but it has inspired me to get creative. I am already looking into different methods of video blogging. But I just don't want to do the basics. As I mentioned, these video clips have inspired me not only to reach out to others and try to help them, educate them, but to think more outside the box. I think this just takes it all to the next level.
What else can you learn from this?
Marketing - Just posting on youtube can get you more viral. (just make sure that everything points back to you, so your main page online can be found, and not just the video)
Getting creative - become entertaining. Blogging can get boring and sometimes lose your reader. I have only done one video blog ever, and I rushed through it. I know this piece could have been so much better if I had planned it out and written a script. I did this video in about 15 minutes from start to finish, all ad lib... even with my help.
Here is my original blog post to go with this video. Mortgages in general - What a consumer should know first
Overall... I think this is a good lesson in stepping out of the norm, thinking outside the box.... being creative.. different.... and keeping the attention of your readership. Just food for thought. What do you think? Opinions? Imagination that could lead to so much more...
