Redneck highrise. Scary stuff!

Won't it???"

If the house is a-rockin, don't - under any circumstances - hang out anywhere in the vicinity!
I love you comments and the pictures are great. Where do you get this stuff? Where in the heck is this, it has a meter on a pole.
...Love it! Lots of places to hang up a clothesline - maybe a tire swing for the kids! Cheers - Wendy Betts - Vancouver BC
Wesley,
As a home inspector, would that foundation design come up in your notes? Scary stuff, indeed.
I am really dumbfounded by this photo. The photo is not of the best quality, but there are definetly major issues at hand that can be seen, other than the obvious! The only way I can see them being able to put this trailer on the concrete block piers is by crane. And unless they had a buddy with a crane that would be somewhat costly...so why wouldn't they just grade out the property? As far as the piers themselves being sound, I can't see whether or not it has footing or how it is attached to the house, and I am not a structural engineer, but I seriously doubt it! I dont know if they reinforced the block with rebar and poured concrete, but what I have found is that concrete is expensive and if someone chooses to go this route and didn't do a solid pour there is a good chance they didn't fill the blocks. Also, the under belly of the trailer looks exposed, which would add many more problems to this scenario.
Home inspectors have a lot of hazzards, but I have to tell you, I don't know if I would even enter this home! After I was done laughing I would look for the cameras to see if I was a victim of a joke and if I didn't find any I would call the agent and ask them what in the world they were thinking!
Hi Wesley-- Welcome to AR.... you look like you are off to a great start! My friend Russel asked me to check in with you--- he has lots of pull around here! :-) Kathy
