Pinon Valley neighborhood is located in the northwest part of Colorado Springs off of Centennial Blvd. It is quite a large neighborhood and it backs up to the very spacious Ute Valley Park. Located in Pinon Valley, is a smaller neighborhood park which has a walking trail, playground and is home to concerts in the park in the summer.

The school district attended by the residents of Pinon Valley is District 11. The specific schools are Chipeta Elementary, Homes Middle School and Coronado High School.
