Not sure what HIP TIPZ is?  Please click on Our Introduction to find out more.  Now, let's get down to business -it's time to roll:

HIP TIPZ #181

Kick the luxe factor up a notch in your oasis (a.k.a. ensuite).  Add a handwoven persian rug in front of the soaker tub.

HIP TIPZ #182

Breathe new life into a tired antique chair by reupholstering it in a faux leather ostrich print.

HIP TIPZ #183

For a formal dining room, have custom slipcovers made for your parson chairs.

HIP TIPZ #184

While on family vacation, take the kids to the beach and go pebble hunting.  Get them to write their name on their favourite one with a permanent marker.  Keep the pebbles on display in a basket with the marked ones on top.  A really neat reminder of your family vacation.

HIP TIPZ #185

Not sure what direction to take with your room?  Choose a favourite print from your wardrobe and use it as your inspiration.  Decorate around it.

Hey Charlene,

I would dearly love to execute tip # 181. But alas, I have no ensuite and I have no soaker tub.

Do you think they make Persian bathmats?

Anyway, Excellent tip series!

#184, I'll never forget my little niece finding a rock at the beach, and brought it over to us.  Someone had written profanity on it.  Thank goodness, she was too little to read.  Of all the rocks on the beach and she found that one!!!

Cindy - Oh no, doesn't that figure!  Like you said, good thing she was too young to read or you would have had some explaining to do to Mom and Dad about her new 'word of the day' ;-)
