Michigan Business Movement....Thursday November 4, 2010

By
Real Estate Agent

Here in these segments on Michigan movement in Business I usually try list or speak to new, expanded or relocated Business ventures within our State.

Today, however, the reports on Cable or TV, & the 2 major Newspapers are still digesting the events of November 2nd's voting results and what they may mean for Michigan and the country as well.

Therefore, my 'pickings' are slim.

But NOT if you are the featured Business people listed below:

Roseville, MI: Comics Store New Name & New Location:

...Bob's Comics of Warren has been renamed "Liberty Comics" and it is not in Warren, but is in Roseville.
   In 2009, the owner Gayle Taylor decided to answer his "mood for a change";
   He wanted to show his gratitude for our Soldiers fighting in Afghanistan--thus the name of "Liberty Comics".
   Now, he is launching:  www.LibertyComicsOnline.com
   This is a very new site, only up for a few months.  Through the site customers can purchase through eBay and also
   sign up for a membership program --& receive discounts, subscriptions to favorite comics, exclusive pre orders, &
   a newsletter..
  the new location is at 27639 Gratiot--just North of 11 Mile Rd in Roseville.  The store opens at noon Tues-Sunday.
  Gayle also takes in comics & novels to send to the troops in Afghanistan.  He personally boxes & mails them.

Barb and Sal, I have to be honest my favorite is Liberty comics.  Nothing against the other two but a company that would change their name to show his gratitude for our soldier fighting in Afghanistan is WAY COOL in my books.  Our son did two tours of Iraq prior to getting out of the Army last year.  He is now a sophomore at Texas A&M.

Kathy....you are so right.  there are pockets here in Michigan where things are much better, but Macomb is not one of them at this time--at least not for a long while.  With the Business-other Group alliances here, things should begin the up-hill journey.  the operative words are "Beginning & Journey".
thanks for your comment & have a good Friday & weekend.
