That's the name of my new favorite tile store.  Located just across the West Virginia border (Potomac River) from Harper's Ferry out Route 340, I had an adventure selecting material for a new back splash for my kitchen.

Yes! A new back-splash can perk up an entire area...and I like the possibilities in this sustainable product, Lenn.

Janeanne.  Indeed.  I'm anxious to get it up.  These are ust accent tiles to be worked into the actual tiles for the back splash.  They'll be in in about a week then we'll get to work.

Craig.  HA!  So do I!!

You will share the finished product I hope?  Like the look of your choice also, although the glass tile varieties are interesting to me as well.  Have fun Lenn!

Paul.  Brave???  My goodness, this is an adventure.  I love to tackle new projects.

Next, I'm going to make a new top for the patio table on my deck which has totally deteriorated from weather.

Lenn - "screams out" is maybe a little strong .... "whispers with gusto" - hmmm ... maybe!  Beautiful kitchen and great post for local business.  I found a similar shop around here ... called:  "Romancing the Stone!"

HI LENN!  Wow - your kitchen resembles mine -- then I added a back splash and it really "made it".  Except now I like your back splash better!  Ha ha! I am sure it will look fantastic! -- Gab

Jack.  I don't know what's happening. I posted to your comment a few hours ago.  My comment disappeared.

Gabrielle.  Thanks.  I'll post a photo when I get it up.

Your kitchen is already lovely, but when you add that blacksplash it will really be beautiful.  Nice choice.

Lenn, I just completed a similar cabinet design in my Potomac rental with a 4 inch back splash.  Elite Kitchens designed and built it.  I used Cesar Stone.  Because it is a rental, I decided to add the glass back-splash in the future.  Are you going to remove the back-splash to add the new ceramic tile?  My contractor suggested to do that, but for now, I am not.

I did not know you moved so far away!  Enjoy your beautiful Kitchen

Margaret.  I love sharing information about helpful venders.

Damon.  I'm sure I will.

Mona.  So will I.

Evelyn.  That's what I'm hoping.

Simone.  No, I'm not going to remove the existing drywall.  I see no reason to do so other than to increase the cost and time for the project, not to mention the risk of something going wrong.  This is a purely decorative feature and not a rehab.

My experience is that the contractor always wants to rebuild rather than add to.  Why not??
