Sitting on the 'fence' is no longer a Great Pasttime!

Is now the right time to buy for you?  If you feel confident enough and are financially prepared, it may not pay to procrastinate.  Interest rates are the lowest they have been in over 50 years.  That's not likely to last forever. Waiting too long to purchase may be not be in your best 'interest'.

Sitting on the fence thinking about if the time was right to buy or not, is now Passe.  I wrote an offer and called the agent to present.

"Great he says...Yours is one of three.  You will present last, at least for the moment."

Third?!  We are up against 2 other offers on a 289 day listing.  I called my buyer and explained the scenario.  He decided to leave the offer as it was and hope for the best.  Then, go after one of the others they were considering.

The Issue at hand is that these clients have been sitting on the 'fence' for a long time.  Now they feel confident enough to buy and now are in multiple offer situation.  Being careful and feeling comfortable when making a home purchase if very important, but what I have seen so far this week, waiting much longer may not be a smart choice.

Interest is low, Prices are the best in years and the supply is very adequate.  No one can guarantee the same condition 3-4 months from now.

Everyone has a reason as to when to buy, and when to wait and WHY!

Look at your reasons and think about it.  It may be smart to wait, and then again...buying NOW may be in your best interest.

affordability is at it's best in 25 years, with property values and rates at their lowest what are buyers waiting for?
