Skagit County Median Home Prices Are Holding Steady in 2010.

We keep hearing on the news about all the doom and gloom about the economy and falling home prices that the media can muster. However; here in Skagit County it just ain't so!

The economic report for October 2010 showed that America gained 151,000 jobs. This was more than double the predicted gain according to Reuters. Woohoo!

Reviewing the statistics from the Northwest Multiple Listing Service (NWMLS) Monthly Recaps from January through October 2010 shows that the median home prices are holding steady in 2010. Woohoo!!

We've got a long way to go for a real economic recovery, but in Skagit County in 2010 house prices have stopped falling. Woohoo!!! This is what the beginning of an economic recovery looks like! Only time will tell if the positive momentum will gain traction or not. But I'm a lot more optimistic going into 2011 than I was going into 2010. How about you?
