We started shipping the new point-and-shoot camera triggers this past week (the Pixie Click). The product turned out really great, and we think it will help those of you who want to make pole photography a part of your real estate practice, but don't want to buy a DSLR or have to use it up on a pole.
There were a lot of tricky implementation issues, including the strength of materials, a flexible design to accomodate nearly all of the point and shoot cameras, and cost (a major consideration). We think we achieved a nice balance to all the goals.
The good news for us is now that we have this new tool, we will now be able to use our Canon point and shoot as well as our 5D. We've tested the Canon point and shoot using live view, and so we can even hook up our battery-powered TV so that we can see what photos we are taking with the Pixie Click.
