Pinecrest Farmer's Market at the Pinecrest Gardens
What an absolutely gorgeous day for the opening of the Pinecrest Farmer's Market at the Pinecrest Gardens! I woke up and it was a breezy 52 degrees, and when I arrived at the Farmer's Market, it was 62 degrees. And the location has changed this year. The market is at the back of the parking lot, in the shade! And it's much larger. The Market Company has done a phenomenal job of creating a true farmer's market! You could be anywhere USA!
Here are some of the things that caught my eye today.
The first photo is an amazing Jack Fruit from Jourdan's Beautiful Food, the second photo is of organic radishes from from Pikaro's Bee Heaven Farms in the Redland and the guys in the photo are the Dylan & Tyrone who built my original garden, from which I have expanded. Dylan builds raised bed gardens and his company is called "Ready-to-Grow" Gardens. Tell him you saw him here if you contact him!
Well it's been such a gorgeous weekend, weather wise and all! My next blog will be about the Guacomole Festival at Schnebly's Winery in the Redland, which we visited yesterday!
