This morning I was showing homes at Wintergreen Virginia on a gorgeous fall day. By now this high on the mountain many of the leaves have already fallen. In fact it was 34 degrees. Of course, at a ski resort it can't get too cold too soon. However I just had to stop the car when I spotted these red leaves against the deep blue sky.
Wow very pretty, we just went through our peak season and it was great.

Gloria - It was one of those days with the bright blue sky when all of the colors were intensified.
Joan - I was driving and the contrast made me stop the car and take the picture.
Shelton - Many of the leaves were already gone on the mountain, so these stood out even more.
