A concert will be held this evening, September 6th, at Lane Stadium in honor of the Virginia Tech victims who were tragically taken from us on April 16, 2007. It will continue a healing process that brought this community together and bonded them for life.
The concert is a result of the generous and gracious efforts of the Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Nas and Phil Vassar to rebuild and heal this extraordinary community. Tickets for the event will be free to all current students, faculty and staff and will be available to the public for $65/ticket.
My daughter, Adrienne Ward, currently a senior at Virginia Tech, will be blogging about this event tomorrow and share her experience with the Active Rain community. It promises to be an unforgettable evening.
