From Shabby to CHIC for this young family's home.

By
Home Stager with LG Home Harmony - Home Stagers & Organizers

I am sure that many of us as home stagers have encountered this same scenario, young married couple have inherited a collection of family heirlooms, furniture, accessories and art and set it up in their home as you see here. Unfortunately upon entering the home it looks like your going to visit Grandma and not this young expanding family's home.

Home Harmony was called in to put a spin on this decor to make it appeal to a wider spectrum of potential buyers ... I think we achieved it with a Shabby to Chic style to suit any family.

BEFORE

    AFTER

Everything we needed was found within the home. Removing extra panels of the curtains and the rug help to lighten the room and show off the hardwood flooring.

BEFORE

AFTER

Furniture was moved between the two rooms to free up the space and create purpose.

Liz - Very nice job.  I love the way you removed the piano and replaced it with the console/buffet, two lamps and mirror.  That makes a great focal point now.

Liz,

You made such a huge difference in these two rooms!  You did an awesome job of cleaning the rooms up, thinning out the furniture and redesigning!

Oh yes, that can be quite the challenge, as usually neither wants to get rid of anything.  I love using and blending different styles together.  You rose to the challenge!

Liz, this is excellent.  We all start this way, with inherited furniture from family and friends.  Making the most of these pieces is great.  I believe in repurposing renewing and reusing.  Great job!

Hi Liz, yes it is always a challenge when staging with about four different decades of furniture. As professional stagers we have to put our thinking caps on and make it all happen. You certainly made all the difference in this home. Congratulations on creating appeal in this home.
