Property Managers are usually classifed as: individual property managers, building managers, and resident managers. The individual property manager is usually a real estate broker who owns his or her company and manages properties for various owners. Some property managerswork for a property management firm or for a corporation as an asset manager. The building manager may be employed by a property manager or directly by an owner, and usually manages a  single, large building, or office complex. Resident managers are employed to manage an apartment building on either a full time or part time basis. The managment contract shows the terms of the agreement between the owner and the property manager. The owner employs and authorizes the broker to perform the duties listed in the contract. This agreement should be a written contract which CLEARLY sets forth the responsibilites of both parties. This contract contract should include the terms and the period of the contract, the policies relating to the management of the premises, management fees , and the authority and powers that are given by the owner to the agent. Has anybody  here ever had a contractual dispute with an agent ?
