One thing I love about vacation is finding unusual places and towns. One of the ones we found accidently on our ventures Glenns Ferry in Idaho. This small little town is where the pioneers crossed the Snake River to get back on their path without taking the harder longer route through the mountains.
This town had so much history as clearly many once across eventually just settled there in the early 1900s. The historic opera house, the saloon that maybe newer, but the building certainly isn’t. Many people had things in their yard from the past and all the benches in the city were made out of old wagon wheels.
This was a cool little town with lots of history and they clearly were proud of that history!
