If you're thinking of moving to Colorado, and you're at a crossroad whether you should live in Denver or Boulder, I've got a suggestion for you.
Consider one of the towns between Denver and Boulder, such as Arvada, Westminster, Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, Thornton, Lafayette, or Golden.
All these towns have a lot to offer, and I've helped people find their new home in each of them. But this post is going to focus mostly on Arvada, because it has something most of the others don't have - a historic town center. OK - Golden has one too, and so does Lafayette. But homes in Arvada are less expensive than those other towns.
So, if you're thinking of moving to Colorado, and you're asking yourself - "What's an Arvada?" here are some web sites and some of my past posts you might enjoy checking out.
Also, I write a monthly newsletter focused mainly on Arvada. I include input from my readers, and try to make it as interesting as possible. It's not all about me and the real estate market. People seem to really like it - if you'd like to be on my e-mailing list, let me know!

I write posts on real estate issues and local events in the Denver metro area, especially those *communities between Denver and Boulder, as a public service. My hope is to give people an idea of the 'flavor' of our community, in case they're new or moving to the Denver area.
