There was just one waterfront Bellevue home sold during October 2010. While Eastside waterfront home sales were strong in September, we saw a bit of a dip in October. Sales of waterfront real estate in Seattle were still fairly strong during the same month.
The West Lake Sammamish property is a 3/4 acre lakefront lot with 100 feet of shoreline. While there is a 3800 square foot home on the property, it's an older home with some deferred maintenance. The real value in this piece of waterfront real estate is the potentially subdividable land. The new owners could potentially build 3 or 4 W. Lake Sammamish homes on the property, which is likely the intent of anyone purchasing this kind of a lot.
The property sold for $1.65 million after being on the market for 2 months.
