It's 8:35am, my birthday...42nd birthday that is.
5:20am... puppy barks in kennel to be let out (do you think someday, she will facebook me from her kennel?)
5:25am... Noah yells, "mom, Sugar is barking." I tell him, "come on in here." My bed that is, it's too early to get up. (maybe he'll text me someday soon, granted, he is only 11 yrs old & doesn't have a phone yet)
5:35am...puppy goes quiet again (whew, peaceful)
5:45am...I can't sleep. I grab my phone to see if my oldest son called yet since he lives 3 hours ahead of us. (yes, I slept with my phone near the bed, hee hee)
5:50am...Unbelievable, I had 14 15 FACEBOOK (real friends of course) wish me Happy Birthday in their own way. I had 7000 7 electronic birthday cards in my email. (now as I'm writing this, there are 25 posts on my wall)
6:00am...I'm up, obviously. I let the dogs out, feed them and clean out their kennel. (Do you think in 20 years that Facebook will figure out a way to do that for me?)
fast forward.........
8:00am...I go to take Noah to school, garage door won't close (hmmmm?????) I take him to school anyways. (how archaic, why can't Facebook drive my son to school?)
8:20am...Whooo Hoooo!!!! I fixed the garage door myself, not sure what happened, but I'm good.
It's going to be a great day, LIFE is good. Everyone is calling, facebooking, texting, hugging me to wish me happy birthday. I'm looking forward to the rest of the day. (Do you think Facebook will start wishing me a great day too?.....maybe someday)
