Ever wonder who or what is going around your home when you are gone?

I wish I still have a job that I can sit around all day to do work and get paid. Unfortunately myself and millions of Americans have to get out of the house and either go to the office or meet clients to do business so we can make a living. One day last week while running back home to grab some files that I needed for a client I notice a boy snooping around the other side of the fence. I could try to watch my house all day or hire someone to do it, but it might not be economical.

Security System

How can we watch our home when we are gone? A few possibilities could be to install a camera system either that record the information to a regular computer which is about less than $1000. Could spend about $800 - $2000+ for a Camera System in a box. Another one that was pretty interesting is the X10 system at about $300+. The X10 system might be the route that I take since they also have add-ons for other security features and automation that can control the lights, notification, etc.

Now that is interesting.  I do not know if I want to do the job of an alarm.

This is interesting...I have seen video cameras everywhere but in a home? Sounds like a great idea.

Tim: Yeah I would not like the alarm job.

Praful: Since the home is one of our biggest asset, we want to keep it safe.

Dan: Thanks.
