By the early twentieth century, the term "multiple listing" was in use. By the 1920s, hundreds of local multiple listing services were established throughout the country.
The fact that I've been busy as of late is definitely a good thing, but the quality of posts on my blogs have taken a hit as a result. However, I refuse to deny you the little bits of "useless" information that I happen to come across...you never know when you might need it. ;)
