The new Denver Real Estate Market updates show that October '10 didn't do as well as October '09, but the drop off wasn't as severe as predicted.
Here are a few highlights:
Single Family (Residential and Condo)
- At the end of October '10, inventory was 21,851 (active and pending). Available inventory was down 6% compared to September '10. Inventory was up 15% compared to October '09.
- Sales Volume (units) totaled 2,842, which is up 2% compared to prior month, but down 28% compared to October '09.
- Average sales price was $261,750 which reflects a 10% increase from October '09 ($260,929)
- Compared to October, '09, average days on market increased 11% to 104 days
