The Re/Max Balloon Celebrates 32 Years!

It's hard to believe, but it has been 32 years since Re/Max launched it's first hot air balloon back in 1978 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The red, white and blue hot air balloon today is one of the most widely recognized corporate logos and to the public it means real estate!

That one launching of the hot air balloon has grown into a fleet of 119 hot air balloons flying proudly worldwide today, making the Re/Max fleet the largest in the world.

Hi Al and Peggy - I spoke to the people who drive one of the three Re/max Ontario Atlantic Canada balloons in summer 2009 while they were in Cobourg for a festival. They also provided some interesting political info about a couple of the franchises. Unfortunately, the balloon wasn't up at the time due to inappropriate wind levels.
