Be Thankful Challenge - I am Thankful to be able to Travel!

I love to travel and, fortunately for me, I live in an area where the neighbors get together and plan trips together. This year we went on a Cruise to Jamaica, the Grand Cayman and Cozumel.

In August, a small group from our church got together and took our RVs to Colorado and hung out together for a week in Gunnison County. We had a blast!!

And in October, we had a mini family reunion in Keys, Oklahoma when our beautiful niece got married!

Today I am thankful for neighbors, friends, and family that we love so much -- we can even go on vacation with them! Is that cool or what?!!

What fun, Joni!  I think it would be great to plan and go on trips with people you enjoy and love.  I do a lot of traveling with family.  And sometimes I like traveling alone to places no one wants to visit with me.  I love it all!

Norma: EXACTLY! My son has picked out the Spring trip next year, I asked for North Carolina and the hubby wants Yellowstone!

Cinnamon: I know it! Spoiled rotten really! :O)  I have been to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico (Island Hopping Cruise) and now this past one with my neighbors! Groups from 18 to 23. We are pretty well known all over the ship... here comes that group of Texans. {{{BIG GRIN}}} 

Myrl: I take care of my mom so I don't travel alone much. The cruise was the only trip without her. Otherwise, we are like a package of twinkies! TWO!

I thought I got all of my traveling desires out of my system when I was in college at Texas A&M. I went to every football game, home and away, for four consecutive years.

Once I’m no longer physically able to work, I hope to start traveling again with the Texas A&M Traveling Aggies. They go all over the world, and it’s their trips are actually quite reasonably priced.
