They say a picture is worth a thousand words.  Well I don't know if these photos evoke a thousand words each but I will let you have a look at each one and tell me what comes to your mind.  I will put my titles I came up with at the bottom of the page.

5. Lunch

6. Shades and Reflections

7. The Road Ahead

Great photos and titles, Jenny :) I especially like the bridge photo - your partial color treatment is great on this!

Hi Jenny, I loved gazing at your beautiful photos.  I am too tired to espouse any creativity so your titles were much better than anything I could think of!  Those crane/egrets are amazing with their fishing!  So patient and stealthy for such an awkward body!

Jenny,

Nice photos. Very clear shots. I had the same title for the first one. Don't know what lies below the bridge in the last photo. :)

Jenny, I was thinking the same as you on "...without a paddle".  I really just wanted to comment on #3...that's one of the nicest photos I've seen in AR.  Debi #5 is an outstanding photographer and I think she'll agree.

Jenny, you take some fine photos and really capture the moment. The photo with the canoe and the last bridge photo I believe are the best, and you can call them whatever you want.

Thanks Rita, you know I always appreciate your stopping by.

Tony and Darcy - that's a Great Blue Heron.  Amazing what they can do with those long necks.

Hi Harry - Love your potty break title.  Thanks for your suggestions.

Al & Peg, thanks for the kind words.  But the pro is really Debi right up there under you.

Thanks Debi, I thought it would be fun to just make the bridge the focal point.

Hi Bruce, the nice thing about those guys is that they stand still for a very long time so it's usually pretty easy to get a lot of shots of them.

Thanks Wanda

Steve, a winding river lies under that bridge.

Nick thanks for the lovely compliment.  You are right Debi certainly is an outstanding photographer.  I just dabble lol.

Great suggestions Jim.  Thank goodness it wasn't Ghost Island or I wouldn't have gone there.  It's amazing how those heron's grab the fish like that.

Thanks Ed.  Always nice to see you here.

Hi Kathy, that's so nice of you to say.  I always look forward to grabbing the dog and my camera and heading out somewhere.  I find it very relaxing.

The window and the canoe lose to the full house....three cranes and a pair of bridges.
