Is Baton Rouge the New Hollywood of the Future?

This weekend is the climax of Baton Rouge's Red Stick International Animation Festival.  I love to watch their website with the creature blowing bublles.  Saturday morning is special day for children of all ages at Cartoon-a-Palooza.  Clowns, spacewalks and cartoon images will be scattered across the lawn at the Old State Capitol.  It will run from 9am to 1pm.  Guests can take in a magic show and a children's art workshop presented by the Baton Rouge Cartoonist Society.  Saturday is a family day following a week long venue of lectures and video gaming classes.  There are some great Baton Rouge Homes in Spanish Town subdivision.

In just the last 3 years Baton Rouge has grown large on the map as a film studio center.  Celtic Studios was Lousiana's first full service studio/sound stage complex.  Film stars and crews are seen at local restaurants, shopping malls, and buying Baton Rouge Homes.    2010 and 2011 have a big schedule for filiming including the popular Twilight series. Popular Baton Rouge Homes near the studio are great investments.

Who knows?  The capitol city of Louisiana, Baton Rouge, may become the next Hollywood!  It's rumored that the stars of the  Twilight movie were spotted having dinner at Perkins Rowe, one of the upscale mall areas.
