Front Porch Gallery in Carlsbad and their November - January 2011 Exhibition
The Front Porch Gallery in Carlsbad opened their new exhibition "I AM HERE - Art Gives Voice to Many," a vibrant display or works by artists from TERI, Inc. in Oceanside.
TERI, Inc., the Training, Education and Research Institute, is a private organization that focuses on the adults and children with autism and other developmental and learning disabilities.
This wonderful exhibit of creations by members of TERI in painting, collage, mixed media and encaustic was a vivid reminder of the depth and breath of human visual creativity.
As Front Porch Gallery says: "Using art to explore and expand the senses, the artists have illuminated the essence and energy of the creative human experience."
This exhibit runs until November 2, 2011 and is well worth your visit.
Gallery hours are Wednesdays through Fridays from noon until 6, and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am until 5 pm.
The Front Porch Gallery is located at the corned of Grand and Carlsbad Boulevard at 2903 Carlsbad Boulevard at the edge of Carlsbad Village a block from the ocean.
