Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain Georgia is a great place to see late fall color!

Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain Georgia.Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain Georgia is world famous for its amazing collection of Spring-blooming azaleas and rhododendrons. Flower lovers from around the world converge at the gardens every Spring for the showy display.

What many horticulture enthusiasts may NOT know is that Callaway Gardens is a great place for viewing fall foliage well into November! The garden features a wide variety of deciduous species that blaze into their Autumn splendor about the same time that the least leaves are falling in the North Georgia Mountains.

And while you’re there enjoying the display of fall color, you may also want to check out the Cecil B. Day Butterfly House, the John A, Sibley Horticulture Center, and the latest addition, the Virginia Callaway Discovery Center!

Just beautiful Richard.  Our trees, the tall ones are all completely bare now.  Our smaller flowering type trees are still somewhat colorful.

Richard...those are gorgeous photos; all our trees are in the brown or no-leaf season now.  I don't know why, but I never thought of Southern trees turning colors in the Fall nor losing their leaves.  Northerners-- have a great week.

Richard, how spectacular! It would be my dream to follow the fall foliage down the eastern seaboard. This just makes me want to put that idea on my bucket list!

Beautiful pictures. They remind me of many of the scenes on jigsaw puzzles when I was a kid - a long time ago. All the bright colors, beautiful. BTW, long before video games people put together puzzles!

Breathtaking is all I have to say!  We just don't get those colors here in my neck of the woods so it is great to live vicariously through your pictures.
