A townhouse in Richmond Hill, Ontario SELLS in just 1/2 day at 100% asking price

When everybody is scared that the sky is falling down in the Canadian Real Estate market, this property sold in half day at asking price.

Once again, a well priced property, a great listing agent and professional staging were the winning combination in for this success.The sellers moved out from the property at the time of staging, so we brought in contemporary furniture pieces, accessories and props to make this townhouse stand our from the competition.

It went on the MLS on Friday morning, by noon the property was sold firm - November 2010

Monica, what a great job!  I am a firm believer in staging and I know it works... along with a properly priced lsiting.   The media love to report doom and gloom (as I wrote in a blog a few days ago) in the real estate market, and it is the farthest thing from the truth..... There is a 3% rise over last year at this time....

Some homeowners understand the benefits of having their properties staged, some not. It is our mission to educate, educate, educate.Look where this industry came to in such a short time? That means that we are doing something good, right?

Lately I find more and more Realtors who pre-sell my services to their clients and I have an easier job in getting the staging projects. Gloria, I commend you for being one  the Realtors who believes in us.

Hi Monica, beautiful work as always. Congratulations on the outstanding results. As you say, our job is to educate, educate, educate. With numbers like these it is hard to argue with success but people still cling to their old beliefs longer than facts might dictate otherwise.

P.S. My husband has taken your advice and made a smoker out of a fridge. Will let you know how it all turns out ;)
