Time and time again, I have clients asking for waterfront homes.  There is certainly something calming about having a beautiful view of water.  It does not really matter what it is, it could be a view of the Gulf of Mexico, intracoastal waterways, the Caloosahatchee River, or even a lake, but having a view of the water creates an extra level of serenity at home.

If you are looking for this type of view, but not looking to spend an arm and a leg to be on water, you may consider looking at the Timber Ridge waterfront homes. 

There are 4 lakes within Timber Ridge that could all be a possibility for you.  While Timber Ridge is not a large community, you can usually find yourself a great deal of a waterfront home currently listed for sale.

Gateway offers other communities that could work for you as well.  I keep a list of all of the best deals in Gateway, so you can spend less without sacrificing your wants and needs.  Also, depending on the time frame you have to move into your new house, you may consider looking at short sales as well.  We've found some phenomenal deals on short sales recently.  Better yet, another avenue for you to find a great deal is through foreclosures.  We've seen a slow down in the number of foreclosures that have hit the market, especially in Timber Ridge, but the occasional foreclosure does come along.  They are typically the best deals you will find!  Again, let me know what you are looking for, and I'll be happy to go to work to find it for you.
