October 2010 homes sales in Fairhope, Daphne and Spanish Fort, AL

October home sales in the Eastern Shore of Mobile, Alabama, slumped 22% in October over the previous month.

But pending sales are up 14% over September's numbers in Fairhope, Daphne and Spanish Fort.

Inventory is down slightly, from 1,151 last month to 1,099. New construction represents 13% of homes for sale, while short sales and foreclosures make up 9% of the current inventory on the Eastern Shore.

List to sale percentage: Down over 1% to 94.25% in October vs. 95.32% in September
