You know how from time to time you will see a segment on some bloopers T.V. show or maybe an e-mail will come across showing a collection of signs or announcements on signs where the intended message didn’t quite come across? You’ve seen those, right? Of course you have. Well, I have been noticing quite a few in my neck of the woods lately, and I am going to make it a point to photograph them from now on so that I can share them with you. They are always good for a chuckle.
This is not one of mine, but it is pretty funny nonetheless. Typical of how we think when we only have so much room to work with and assume the reader will “read between the lines” to extract the meaning.

This one is just plain funny. It is a real sign, right? Not one of my 
photographs, but I felt it worthy of inclusion here. Surely this is not a REAL D.O.T. road sign that was erected and is being allowed to stand. Really? HaHa!
This one is mine. The picture quality is poor because it was shot at night and I didn’t have a flash, but you get the idea. This is our YMCA. The youth basketball sign-ups were last week?? Dang it! I hate when that happens! HaHaHa!!!
I’ll keep an eye out for more funny signs, and when I find them, you’ll be the first to know!
