Here is a snapshot of market statistics for Lafayette, CO for the Month of October 2010:

• Sales of single family homes decreased by 26.1% for October as compared to October of 2009.  Sales also decreased for attached dwellings; 33.3%.
• Year to date sales for single family homes decreased by only 3.8% and sales of attached dwellings decreased by 6.8%.
• It took less time to sell a single family home, with the average days to contract dropping from 91 days to only 56 days (a 38.5% decrease).  However, for attached dwellings, the average time increased from 46 days to 53 days (a 15.2% increase).
• The average sales price for a single family home increased by 6.5% to $403,036.  For attached dwellings, the average sales priced decreased 22.0% to $153,162.
