The Greenbrier's Second Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

By
Real Estate Agent WV0026375

On December 4th, the Greenbrier will host its second annual Christmas Tree lighting ceremony starting at 6:30 PM.  The ceremony follows the annual White Sulphur Springs Christmas Parade.

We attended the First Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Greenbrier last year.  It was an awesome sight, and we plan to go again this year.  Guess we have started a new holiday tradition!!

Mark your calendars for this special holiday event.  Enjoy live musical performances, including an old-fashioned sing-a-long of classic Christmas carols; complimentary hot chocolate and warm apple cider; and of course, the grand finale at 7:00 PM is when Santa Claus arrives to light The Greenbrier's 90-foot Christmas tree, decked out with more than 28,000 dazzling lights.

The Christmas lights display includes the Christmas tree, the grounds and many holiday animated displays that will illuminate your heart and put you in the holiday spirit.  It is indeed a sight to see this holiday extravaganza at the Greenbrier and to see the grounds transformed into a winter wonder land.  Below are photos from last year's event.

This special holiday event is free and open to the public.  Celebrate the true spirit of the season and help brighten the holiday for others in the community by donating a new, unwrapped gift for the 2011 Toys for Tots program

Start a new holiday tradition that your family will treasure for generations, at The Greenbrier.  Hope to see you at this holiday extravaganza, and don't forget to bring a gift for the Toys for Tots program.

Merry Christmas

Rebecca, I absolutely LOVE your Christmas slideshow with the "snowing" effect! The only things missing from the holidays for me is my side of the family and snow. :)

Rebecca-That is spectacular. I would love to see that around here. The snow is pretty. It always is when it first falls and then you have to shovel it or snowblow it and it isn't so pretty anymore.

Rebecca - That's a really nifty slide show, with a great selection of photos!  I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around the idea that we are quickly approaching the holidays.
