FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 19TH, is the Shippensburg 19th Annual Dickens' Day Holiday Parade, 7:00PM, (Rain Date is Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 7:00PM). This year’s theme is “Twas the night before Christmas”
At 7:45PM see the Tree Lighting at Vigilant Hose Co, 129 E. King St.
8:00-9:00PM Visit with Santa at Orrstown Bank, 77 E. King St.
FROM SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2010 THROUGH SATURDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2010, ring in the holiday season in downtown Shippensburg with a multitude of festive events sure to please the entire family! The activities include: Dickens characters, Brunch with Santa, Live Mannequins, Old Courthouse Tour, Passport to Germany at Christmastime, SHAPE Art Gallery, Marionette Story Time, Shippensburg Historical Society, Gingerbread House Making, and so much more. Feel free to dress as your favorite Dickens character, you will be in good company!
