I was not prepared for the windy day we had here yesterday in NY! My day started in Croton on Hudson and took me down county for another part of the day, and boy, I’m glad I let my hair go wavy, later it was gorgeous windblown and not ever to replicate. :)
It was W-I-N-D-Y!
I didn’t realize the havoc going on in my own town until I returned; fallen trees, power outages, the winds were up to 40mph! Maybe to some of you that is not that windy, but to us and to all the trees we are surrounded by, the day was a whirlwind and all the leaves are gone.
The pic here is from my patio, as you can see it is a carpet of leaves, and I obviously need to call my landscaper! It still looks pretty.
