Are you blazing a trail that will still be seen 150 years from now?

I love Activerain, blogging and social media, but will what I’m doing now still be seen as inventive, daring, or be seen as a trail blazer in 150 years? Did you watch someone become successful by blogging and follow them trying to make a better life for yourself?

But, who really made it are the first people to blaze the trail. Now, am I saying abandon Activerain? HECK NO! Activerain gets business, but it also can help you blaze the trail ahead of your competitors if you just read, learn and do.

Many agents find great tools that help you build your business, sell your listings or just make your family life better and if you are the one to read about it and enact it you can be the trail blazer. If it works, the people in your office may be following you instead of you following someone else.

Now what makes me ask these questions? 150 years ago, my relatives came across the Oregon Trail and though many died they were the trail blazers that made Oregon what it is today. You can also go to many places along the Oregon Trail, and 150 years later, the tracks from the wagons are still present in the dirt. Though the first trail blazers still lost many on the trek, the later followers actually lost a lot more because the food and water supply along the trail had been depleted by the previous pioneers who took the trail first.

Are you going to be a trail blazer who has the business and leave tracks that can be followed in 150 years or are you going to follow and hope to stay alive in the business?
