Green Realtor Ideas #1&2

It is true that there is only one earth and we need to take care of it. With all this talk about being green and eco friendly I took a look at my business and thought about what I could do to be green? Here are two of my ideas.

Vancouver BC Realtor Key Chain keys#1. Instead of ordering a batch of inexpensive plastic key chains I ordered a batch of unique citythemed leather key chains from a local artistic creative company www.catalystreaction.ca. Even though these key chains don't have my name and number on them, they definitely make a statement.  I feel like my clients appreciate them and will actually use them.  These key chains are so GREEN because they are made out of scraps of leather that would otherwise end up in the trash and they are locally made so there is no carbon cost to ship them.

Vancouver BC Realtor Sign Cedar

#2. I changed my signage. Most of my signage was made out of plastic, which doesn't biodegrade. I am in the process of phasing out the my plastic signage to aluminum and cedar. They both stand up to the weather well, and the cedar signs which I hang below my Name and Number sign really have a different look. They make my signs stand out a bit from the others!

These are two of my green ideas that I put to practice, I know they are small, but every little bit helps!

Hi Debra,

Good for you. We're always looking for little ways ourselves (in our office) that can help make a difference. We recycle just about everything we can nowadays and do our best to use less of almost everything we can.
