Thanksgiving Dinner in Tucson - You Don't Have to Cook!

If you read my blog posts with any regularity, you'll know I love a good meal out.  And Tucson has a huge offering of restaurants and plenty of world-class chefs.

Thanksgiving is coming, and not everybody cooks; Tucson offers an array of feasts and buffets for every taste.

I did a bit of investigating and tried to put together a comprehensive list of alternatives to cooking it yourself.  Takout, eat in, buffet, gourmet, casual, Vegetarian, Mexican - hopefully something for everyone!

Me...well I'll be cooking.  Although I love a fine meal out, to me there's nothing like serving up "Cara's world" class holiday meals - and my kids all have their favorite dishes.  This Thanksgiving is extra special because our son will be here on leave from Germany, where he serves in mental health services for the USArmy.

What makes your holiday special?  If it's not cooking, check out my handy list below!  (Watch the deadlines for pre-ordering!)

The trouble with not cooking is, what do you do for the good turkey sandwichs the next day. They are the best part of the dinner.

Jim Little   So TRUE!  I didn't make Thanksgiving last year due to my mom being in the hospital (she's doing great) and it was a disappointment to say the least.  I believe I cooked the turkey a couple of weeks later.

It is nice to know where to go, even if you have people over. Because the unexpected can happen. Power ourage. Burnt food, appliance disaster.

Having a back up plan that doesnt get used is ok.

Brian DeYoung   Very good points!  The worst does happen every so often!  I didn't even realize for years that you can get it premade and then heat up.  Not my personal style...but good to know!
