Usually when I drive along Collins Avenue in Bal Harbour I do it for business. I take my Buyers to see condos or single family homes, and I hardly spend time enjoying the scenery, the tourists and the Shops.
Well, having a 15 year old daughter who already got her driving permit and has been invited by a friend of mine to learn the secrets of running a store at the Bal Harbour Shoppes gave me the opportunity to become, for the first time, a tourist in my own town.

It was really nice to have some time to reflect about this town, its beautiful shores and also coming to the realization that life has a multiplicity of components including the fact that I am no longer the only driver in the family!
