The fourth annual celebration of the fantasy world, with fair attractions, entertainment and vendors. There are two different market areas - a traditional vendor fair where Crowfoot sells her handmade incense, soaps, bath salts and candles, and a Goblin's Market, where customers can barter and trade for goods with items like crystals, bells and other fairy garb.

'How the Grinch Stole Christmas'

Dr. Seuss's classic holiday story comes to life, filled with eclectic characters and plenty of songs. When the evil Grinch tries to rob the residents of Whoville of Christmas, the townspeople show him there's more to the holiday than he ever thought possible. Songs include "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" and "Welcome Christmas."

Harvest Festival at Enchanted Island

This is the time of year where families can enjoy the fall harvest activities like a hay maze, pony rides, a hay ride, the petting zoo, a climbing wall and face-painting or play on inflatable bouncers.

Phoenix Reptile Expo

Learn about Arizona native reptiles. Lizards, snakes, turtles and so many more reptiles are the stars of the show at this show. On Saturday, the presentations include Reptile Adventures at 3 p.m. and a book signing with Manny Rubio and his book "Rattlesnakes of the United States and Canada." Christmas Tree Lighting

Santa Claus, himself, leads the lighting countdown and musical entertainment is performed by Notre Dame Preparatory High School's Saints Alive choir and local performing artist Rachael Calvis.  See the lighting of America's tallest fresh cut Christmas tree, a white fir that stands 110 feet high and is decorated with 50,000 lights and more than 3,000 ornaments.

Downtown Chandler Block Party

The City of Chandler is having a party...not just any party, a Block Party!  In addition to seeing $9 million in street renovations and a new city hall, celebrate the holiday season with Santa Claus and live music, including bands and Christmas carolers. Other activities include skating, bounce houses and wall-climbing. There also are vendor and food booths, and an art market.

Woofstock at Tumbleweed Park

This 2nd annual event features the Great Chandler Dog Walk, a non-competitive walk with three courses and start times. A Pets on Parade costume parade begins at noon with participation number distribution at 11:30 a.m. Other activities are pet contests, raffle prizes, interactive demonstrations, dog massages, a pet psychic, a mini bark park and multiple pet-friendly vendors. Well-mannered dogs on leashes welcome!

Mad Mud Run at MacDonald's Ranch

Have you ever wanted to just play in the mud...for no reason at all?  This Saturday is your chance!  This Mad Mud Run features a 4-mile adventure where runners travel on a marked course passing through multiple obstacles. Obstacles are boot camp style and the race ends with a crawl through a mud pit. After the race, kids have fun with the Mudpuppy Splash, a mini course that ends in the mud pit. Awards given to top finishers in the one-, two- and five-person division.

NASA exhibit at Museum for Youth

To celebrate NASA's 50th anniversary, a traveling art exhibit depicting the history of space travel is on display through January at Arizona Museum for Youth in Mesa.
