Attitudes on 'Business' in this Changing Market

Real Estate Broker/Owner with TriCounty Real Estate 182685 GA

Recently, I read a quote from Zig Ziglar, that I've been thinking a lot about lately -

"Your business is never really good or bad "out there."  Your business is either good or bad right between your own two ears. - Zig Ziglar

Attitude is everything, isn't it?  I realized that my "sphere of influence" will support me and refer me more often if my attitude is posiitive and they know I will always look after their "Best Interest", no matter what market the news media says we're in.  The "Key to Success" in our business remains, and always will be, rooted in the positive mental attitude we exhibit every time we answer the phone or go on appointment.

And to quote Zig once more - "It is easy to get to the top after you get through the crowd at the bottom."

I think most IBO's primary enemy is there own complacency.  People become accustomed to certain routines and begin to expect things to go a certain's world is more full of change than ever though.  With the increase in speed that business is able to be done at nowadays...the relative change is increased proportionately.  If you listen to your will tell you what it wants....fill the need...fill the need...fill the need.

We love Zig Ziglar!! When he came to Savannah a few years ago we got to meet him. He was a really great guy. What you wrote Dianne is so true. We have seen people that make it in business who by all odds should not have and we have also seen people who have been total failures who had everything going for them. The biggest difference is how they thought.

Zig Ziglar is one of the greatest mentors and I use this quote of his quiite often - Would look back at your life and say I wish I had or I'm glad I did? I aboslute agree that attitude is everything... sow whenever I hear someone say "It's impossible", I usually say, "I'll be the first to succeed!" Keep doing what you do.
