We all procrastinate, it's part of life with all that's going on, this is a quick and effective  commentary about getting it going and staying consistent.  It's so easy in the RE biz to put off for tomorrow what you can do today.

Think you may procrastinate? Do you keep putting off a task that becomes a problem when you left it undone? Read this list now to get going now.

1. Understand that procrastination is not a personality trait or flaw that you are born with. It is a habit, and it is changeable.

2. Admit to yourself that you may procrastinate.  Many excuses relate to fear - doing something imperfect, tackling the unknown, being rejected, failing, or even succeeding.

3. You have anxiety about starting.

4. Be aware of your more stressful times.

5. Once you understand why and when you procrastinate, start to change.

6. Don't start a second task until you finish the first. Avoid being sidetracked.

7. Reward yourself.

8. Remember that practice makes perfect.

If you read this far, congratulate yourself. You finished the list without procrastinating.

procrastination is the worse ..especially in the real estate business..it just prolongs the desired result of sales ..we all go through it ...but the key is not to procrastinate..doing something every day no matter how small ...law of accumalation ....eventually results will come

My teacher used to say "It's not procrastination, if you planned it" =)

All jokes aside, procrastinating only makes things a lot worse.  I always try to get things done asap, so I do not have to worry about it later.
