What is a Relationship? And how does that relate to real estate?
The two go hand in hand.
Owning a home is very much like being in a relationship. You must nurture it, comfort it, and respect it. All three elements must exist for it to be a healthy unity.
From the time you first fall in love with the house, you adore it, you want to spend every waking minute with it. You clean it, and cook in it, and really feel lucky that you have found the right house.
Then time goes by and you start to get busy with life, and forget to dust. Then more time goes by and you forget to water the plants in the front yard. Then more times goes by and other things begin to build on top of another.
But then something happens, say you found this really awesome new painting that you know would look perfect over the dining room table. Then you start to clean the dining room to make room for the new painting, and from there you have rekindled a new love for your house all over again.
It comes down to learning what works best with the house. Once you have the right artist. You begin to realize you have the perfect house.
That's when it is Home Sweet Home!
