Smart Phone Camera Ain't So Smart.............

I have been looking to lease some office space in my town to open up another office for my Broker.  I have been looking for the last month at available properties and haven't found one that my Broker has given the "OK" on.  There isn't a whole lot of inventory for the small size that I am looking for.  I have been waiting to see one more property and have been playing phone tag with this one Agent, who called me while I was in the mall with my 5 year old.

"I'm in town now and can be at my listing in 5 minutues if you can meet me there".

I looked at the clock and did the math.  I had exactly 20 minutes to leave the mall, view the property and get back home so my daughter could get the bus in time.  I already had her book bag in my car and she had just eaten a cinnamon bun at Au Bon Pain (does that count for lunch?).  I agreed to rush right over to see the space, which I would have to report back to my Broker.

As I approached the office space, I got out my phone to snap a picture of the roadside signage, which I know is important to my Broker.  As I was getting the picture app ready, my phone froze, right there in front of the building.  I had exactly 10 minutes to see this property and get back into the car and head to the bus stop.

I had big plans for pictures from my phone.  I was going to be very efficient, snap the photos and email them to my Broker's phone so he could get the most up to date info on my office search.  Well, now that looks like it wasn't going to happen.  The phone was frozen and the only thing that I could do was take the battery out and put it back in again.

I toured the space with the other Agent, who kindly let me fumble with getting the case off of my phone to get the battery out just to put it back in again and restart.  HMMMMMMMMMM...Aren't these phones suppose to make out lives easier?  Why is it that when I need it the most, it dies.  Maybe it's Karma and I did something back in another life, or back at the mall for that matter.

As I got back into my car and slowly drove out of the parking lot, my phone restarted and was photo ready..

"thanks a lot" I thought as I snapped a quick pic of the roadside signage and headed to the bus stop.  The good news is that I made it to the bus stop in time, the not so good news is that the office space probably isn't right for our business.  Oh well, can't blame me for trying, but maybe it was my lack of photos that cinched it!
