Wenatchee and East Wenatchee Home inspection- Sprinkler Power

As Wenatchee and East Wenatchee Home inspection service I find that sprinkler power can have a adverse effect on the home. When installing and maintaining your sprinkler system it is very important to ensure that the sprinklers are properly set up and maintained. When performing home inspection it is not uncommon to find that sprinklers are causing issues with the home. This can have substantial cost to repair if gone unchecked.

Here are a few examples of sprinkler not properly adjusted.

In this one example it is fairly obvious what is happening.

Sprinkler V

In this example it may be a little more difficult to detect. The sprinkler system was spraying in through the foundation vent for months causing erosion of the crawlspace. This can lead to rot and insects infestation.

Sprinklers need to be evaluated every year to ensure that they are functioning correctly and properly aimed.

Don,

As you say, sprinklers can raise havoc. It is the old business of "water is the enemy".

Steve,

It is. Homes have enough water challenges without trying to introduce more.
