Manhattan Bch Gov'mt Votes to Impose Low-Flow Toilet Rules at Home Sale

Despite some opposition from real estate professionals this week, the Manhattan Beach council votes to require that non compliant toilets be replaced with water efficient ones when a home is sold.

There's the Calif. government imposing regulations to help all.  Sorry, I used to live there, and the state is way over regulated. So far in NC, we don't have to bring anything up to code for existing homes.

Hi Dawn, I hear you! Thanks for the input. You know California. It is a wonderful place to live, all things considered. I bet NC is a nice place to live also fro what I have seen.

Thought there may be some rebates out there for our folks out there. According to the California water saving web site the rebates are no longer offered. They may have run out of funds. Will try to find another program. http://www.mwdsaveabuck.com/devices_01.php?id_dvce=3
