The picutre above is of Miss Porter's School, which is a private all-girls boarding school located in the center of town. Jackie Onassis attended Miss Porters from 1944-1947 and Gloria Vanderbilt spent some time here as well. You can learn more about the school here.
Farmington is surrounded by lush landscapes and rolling hills and hosts the Historic Hill-Stead Museum which houses famous works of art by Monet, Manet, Cassat and Whistler to name a few.
